Why this exists
Founders don’t skip accounting. They postpone it — a spreadsheet, a year of catch-up, a deadline heard about late — until a raise, a 409A or a first audit needs twelve clean months by Friday. Lopifi keeps them clean from day one: agents do the repetitive work inside the QuickBooks Online or Xero file you already have, anything that needs judgment waits for your sign-off, and a CPA reviews the books every quarter.
Building that took a component layer that knew accounting, and none existed. Every generic UI kit claims to have a table, a card and a chart. None of them survives contact with a general ledger. Floats drift on a sum of cents; one signed column instead of debit and credit means nothing reconciles; -$1,240.56 where accounting requires ($1,240.56) breaks a column’s alignment the moment a value goes negative; a null balance rendered as $0.00 says “the balance is zero” when the truth is “we do not know”.
Those are not styling problems and they cannot be fixed by a designer with a token file. They are domain rules, and this is what a component library looks like when the rules are built in rather than reimplemented, slightly differently, on every screen.
Who builds it
A small team of CPAs and engineers who have spent years closing books for software companies — and who noticed that most of that work is the same work, every month, for every company. The agents do that part. The judgment, and the quarterly review, stay with people who are accountable for it.
How it is put together
Every component is specified before it is written, and the spec ships with it. The catalog, the registry, the 58 documents, the 287-term glossary and the 13-lesson course are generated from the same sources, so a page cannot contradict the page next to it — and every one of them has a Markdown twin and an entry in llms.txt, because half the readers of this site are agents.

- The specification58 documents: the philosophy, the design foundations, the domain model, and the four-layer spec for every component.
- The catalogAll 179 components, each with its spec, dependencies and install line.
- The MCP serverPoint an agent at the registry: components with source, specs, the lexicon and the design tokens.
