The rate implicit in the lease if you can determine it, otherwise your incremental borrowing rate. A private company may elect a risk-free rate by class of asset.

Paid before commencement. Added to the ROU asset, not the liability.

Cash from the lessor, such as a tenant improvement allowance. Reduces the ROU asset.

Costs you would not have incurred without the lease, like a broker's commission. Added to the ROU asset.

ISO 4217 code — sets the decimals: JPY 0, USD 2, KWD 3.

Dr ROU asset, Cr Lease liability at commencement. Operating lease: one straight-line lease cost each period; the ROU asset comes down by that cost less the interest accreted on the liability — not straight-line. A lease of 12 months or less with no purchase option you expect to exercise can be kept off the balance sheet under the short-term election.

How the lease — ASC 842 / IFRS 16 works.

Lease PV and the ROU asset/liability roll-forward under ASC 842 / IFRS 16 — the liability's payment is fixed on every row and the final row's interest closes it, and the ROU asset amortises straight-line for a finance lease or as the plug to a straight-line cost for an ASC 842 operating lease.
