The short answerFondo bundles bookkeeping with tax filing and R&D credits for Delaware C-corps, which Lopifi does not do. Lopifi keeps accrual books closed continuously in your QuickBooks Online or Xero file, with a quarterly CPA review, for $200 a month.

Bundles and boundaries
Buying books and tax from one provider saves a handoff. The question to ask is who, outside the bookkeeping, checks the books before the return is prepared from them.
Lopifi keeps the two apart: we close the year on US GAAP, a CPA reviews it, and your own preparer files. Which arrangement is better depends on whether you value one bill or an independent pair of eyes.
When Fondo is the better choice
- You need your books kept this month. Lopifi is a waitlist and lets companies in a few at a time.
- You want Form 1120, Delaware franchise tax and an R&D credit study from the same provider as your books.
- You are pre-seed and quarterly or annual bookkeeping is enough.
When Lopifi is the better choice
- You want to stay in the QuickBooks Online or Xero file your CPA and investors already open. Lopifi works inside it and syncs both ways.
- You want accrual books on US GAAP with a lead schedule behind every balance, closed as transactions happen rather than weeks after month end.
- You already have a tax preparer and want them handed a closed, reviewed year.

Common questions
How much does Fondo cost?
Fondo's pricing page lists monthly bookkeeping from $399 a month as a limited-time offer, quarterly from $1,198 a quarter, annual from $950 a year, and TaxPass from $1,450 a year on offer.
Does Lopifi file taxes like Fondo?
No. Lopifi does not prepare or file tax returns or R&D credit claims. It tracks deadlines such as Form 1120 and Delaware franchise tax and hands a closed year to your preparer. If you want filing and books from one company, Fondo sells both.
Is Fondo cash or accrual?
Fondo's pricing page does not state a basis, so this page does not say. Ask Fondo directly whether your plan is accrual on US GAAP.
