Flat 4.55% corporate tax, a $15 minimum wage, and sick time from the 11th employee

Setting up a startup in Nebraska

Nebraska is cutting income taxes fast — a flat 4.55% corporate rate and a 4.55% top individual rate in 2026 — while voters raised the cost of employing people: a $15.00 minimum wage and paid sick time for employers with 11 or more. Its sales tax still counts transactions, and corporations file a biennial report with an occupation tax.
