Typeform is hired to build web forms and collect the answers. The form is the easy part to rebuild; the work is in the embeds, the integrations and the stored responses. Below: the published plans, the open-source options we verified, and the steps for leaving without losing a lead form.
A form gets built for one campaign, then stays embedded long after anyone remembers it. The plan is renewed because nobody is sure which form still matters.
The way out is a count: forms live, forms with responses this quarter, forms wired to something. That count usually shrinks the job before any replacement is chosen.
Only alternatives we have checked. An open-source project is listed with the license its repository reports, on the date shown; one whose license could not be read as a single standard id is not offered as open source. Read the license guide before running any of them.

Each feature below is what the product's own page or README says, linked to where we read it on the date shown. Pros and cons are limited to what those pages state and to what the path itself changes. We do not rank products on quality.

List prices as printed on Typeform's pricing page on the checked date. The plan cards and the comparison table on that page disagreed for some plans; the card figures are shown. Response limits are per month. Taxes and promotions are not included.
A form is a short chain: ask, validate, store, notify. Most companies use a small part of what the plan includes, which makes the quarterly response count the most useful number to bring to the decision.
Samples are made up and are not Typeform's prices. Type in the figures from your own invoice or order form.
The honest yearly cost of running open-source software yourself, set against the bill it replaces, with the seat count where it stops paying.
Paid seats against seats in use: what the idle ones cost a year, and what you save by right-sizing at renewal.
Arithmetic only, not tax, accounting or legal advice. Check the figures against your own order form.
In outline:
List every live form, where it is embedded, how many responses it received lately and where those responses are sent.
Retire forms nobody uses. Rebuild one real form in the replacement, with its logic and notification, and test it end to end.
Export responses you need to keep. Check what personal data they hold and store them where access is controlled.
Swap the embed or link on each page, one at a time, and submit a test response after each swap.
Keep the old account for a month in case a stray link turns up, then end the plan inside the contract's notice window.
Run the vendor report for QuickBooks Online or Xero, then open the free audit.

“In use” is your call: last sign-in in the past 30 or 90 days from the vendor's admin report. A seat for someone on leave is not idle.
