Registrations
A Delaware corporation registers with DCCA’s Business Registration Division and files an annual business report each year in the quarter tied to its registration date ($15 for a profit corporation). With DOTAX it gets a Hawaii Tax ID and a GET license — a one-time $20 fee — and a withholding account once it has Hawaii employees.
Hawaii’s tax calendar runs on the 20th: GET periodic returns on the 20th of the following month, the annual GET return and Form N-30 on the 20th day of the fourth month after year end.
